How do I make a return?

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, Edgewig.com is pleased to offer the highest standard of customer service. Before you return a purchase, please carefully review our return policy outlined below:

 

Eligibility for Returns:

  • We accept returns within 30 days from the date of delivery

  • To be eligible for a return, the item must be in original, factory condition (unaltered, unworn, undamaged, odor-free, in the original netting, and with tags attached), and in its original packaging 

 

Non-Returnable Items:

The following Items are non-returnable:

  • Clearance items, Special Sale items, Promotional items, Special Order items.
  • ALL Fashion Jewelries and Cosmetics are Final Sale.
  • All accessories, chemical products, makeup and clearance sale items, and bulk order items are FINAL SALE
  • Costume wigs, discontinued items, care products, accessories, liquids, special order items and wholesale orders
  • Any product that is opened, used, tried on, altered(trimmed, cut, teased/feathered), and damaged by customers, missing pieces, and missing packaging materials.
  • Products with tags cut, unattached, no hair net, and no tissue paper inside the cap 

 

Exchanges:

  • We do not offer exchanges



Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Missing Items:

If your item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or is missing, please contact us with photographic evidence of the damage within 3 days of receiving the order. All of these claims can range from 1 to 8 business days to be resolved after claim is submitted.

 

Return Process:

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  • You must email us at support@edgewig.com for Return Authorization.
  • Make sure to provide your order number, reason for the return, and any relevant details.
  • We will review it and give you an authorized return number within 1-2 business days.
  • Our team will guide you through the return process and provide you with a return authorization if applicable.
  • International or military installation (APO, FPO, MPO) returns, it must be made within 7 days from delivery date. You will be responsible for additional charges (handling, customs etc).

Packaging and Shipping:

  • Pack the item in original condition and securely in its original packaging to prevent damage during transit. Include all original tags, any paperwork, manuals or accessories. Returned item(s) must be unopened, unused, not tried on, unaltered, and undamaged.
  • You are responsible for covering the return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item sent by us.
  • We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns and either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to use a carrier that offers tracking or insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping. We are unable to refund or replace without proof of delivery.
  • If returned items are not in the same condition as they were when sent, we will refuse or send the package back to you with shipping charge.

Refund Process:

  • Once we receive the returned item(s), our team will inspect it for condition and completeness. If the return criteria is met, we will process your refund.
  • It may take 3 to 10 business days from the date the package is received to be inspected. 
  • There will be a minimum 20% restocking fee applied for all returned depending on the condition of the item(s).
  • Once the restocking fee is applied to the item value, any remaining balance will be refunded within 5 business days after receiving the returned item to the same payment method used for the original purchase.
  • Shipping fees and non-refundable items will be deducted from the refund amount. Original shipping fees will be refunded only if the item was shipped incorrectly or damaged.
  • If the original order qualified for free shipping and promotional shipping, original shipping costs will be deducted.
  • If return does not meet the criteria, we will email you with the following options:
    • Returning the item(s) to you at your own expense
    • Disposal of the item (this will happen automatically 30 days after receiving the return)
